Addressing the diverse needs of our members who have to cope with ongoing illness or disability has always been a top priority for Saltburn District u3a. In June 2024 Bill D. took on the role of Accessibility Officer and he is available to help our members who have difficulty attending our groups and meetings due to illness or disability (physical or otherwise).
Since taking over the role, Bill has organised speakers for hearing loss in November 2024, and the "Growing Older Project" run by Citizens' Advice in the Redcar and Cleveland area in March 2024.
Continuing our programme for Dementia Awareness a workshop has been scheduled for 22nd September 2025. An interest list is being compiled, please use the contact below to add your name.
